Default shore power

When plugged into shore power and operate my power sofa the lights dim and then go back to normal when switch released, also when I disconnect from
shore power I have to reset my lithium batteries to get DC voltage.
anyone have any ideas as to why this happens other then that all seems to work ok.
Thanks Joe

Is this a continuation of the same problem as before?

any help would be appreciated.
Thanks Joe

yes its the same problem but it don't seem to have any effect on the operation that require AC voltage
I can still use all my ac appliances its when I use anything that requires DC
voltage that lights dim. MY dealer says all wired correctly. But I don't think my
lights should dim when frig comes on when hooked to shore power.

Just curious. Is your fridge a 3way or 2way?

The 120v AC is powered independently so can be fully functional when the 12V is not.

This sounds to me like a bad, loose or corroded connection somewhere, which has high resistance and causes voltage drop whenever current is drawn across it.

Can you measure 12V voltage with lights and fridge off, then power up the fridge and run the sofa and measure voltage while the sofa is running?

The voltage should drop somewhat, but not a lot. The difference between the voltage with and the voltage without the sofa moving will give an idea if this is wiring related.

I checked voltage on battery and reads 13.46 when fridg running and sofa operating it reads 13.26v plugged into shore power reads 13.53 run fridg and sofa voltages is 13.45 so I thinks that it should be ok. Of course I only notice at night when I using the lights that I notice light dimming when fridg or sofa is operating.

Could just be a dirty connection at the battery terminals. This will create resistance and cause the dimming even with full batteries. The unlikely option is the couch motor is going out and drawing to much power.
