Default Schitzoid Maxx air fan

2017 Winnie Era 170A. Wondering if anyone else has had the vent fan randomly turn itself on and off. It won't lift the lid up to vent but the fan comes on at 100 percent power. It isn't on auto and not programmed. The batteries are out of the remote. It's getting really irritating so I pull the fuse.

An RF signal from a source other than the remote?

Possible. However, I've had it happeni in spots where I have been 30 miles from anyone else. Good thinking though.

If it does it in remote areas and with the remote disabled, you are probably looking at a bad push button or the circuit board itself. The buttons may even be part of the board, but I don't know for certain either way.

Maxx Air circuit boards in some years had issues with voltages over 13.6(??) volts.

I never delved into it 'cuz we have a Fantastic Fan.

Its the circuit board going bad. You should probably put a separate power regulator on the power supply but apparently power problem has been fixed with current replacement circuit board. I had to replace my circuit board. Current version is revision C, I believe.

See Humble Road Youtube video on Maxxair fan.

Yup, same thing happened to ours about a year ago. Had to replace the circuitboard.

Got the new circuit board installed yesterday and the fan functions properly again. Thanks for all your input. Helped me out quite a bit.
