Default PCM/ECM exchange

Hi.
I have a 1997 Roadtrek Pop.
I recently replaced the PCM.
The first one did not work because the company did not reset and program it properly.
Returned jt, and found another company.
AMS automoduelsource on eBay .
They are great.
Asked for all the appropriate info upfront.
I received a nicely refurbished unit.
Which plugged in and worked PERFECTLY!
There are many companies offering these for sale...do beware.
They should ask for...

Make, model, year, type trans, size engine,VIN,and most importantly the part number from the unit you are replacing.
Hope you never need this info....but if you do...I hope this helps.
Eddie
