Onan propane generator hose failure issue

I apologize if this has been covered already in another ClassBForum thread - if it was, I could not locate it. It needs to be cross-posted so that no Class B owner over here is forced to re-invent this same wheel.

TL;DR - certain Onan propane generators have “biodegradable” internal hoses that are failing, leading to generator non-function. This is happening in units that are not that old.

Rather than repeat all that detail here, this Airforums thread takes up the discussion, with the solution described starting around post #21. A technical service bulletin from Onan is included in the thread.
