Could not find my last post to add this to it. It summery my Onan 2800 would run for 20 to 30 minuets. It would hunt for few seconds then die. Would restart after sitting a while. Prior to this it had an intermediate knocking sound. Changed fuel pump today a running like a champ. Had already changed fuel pump about 2 years ago already. Guess they don't last.

Whenever I look for an old thread or post of mine, I click on my name and then "statistics". I can usually find what I'm looking for after a short scroll.

You have just justified my decision to mount the replacement pump external from the generator.

I agree but I did not. Hear seems to be a killer for the pumps!
