Default Great West Sprinter Battery Switch

I just went to turn the battery isolator switch on and I heard a piece fall off and I am now unable to turn the switch on. It is on a Great West 2007 Sprinter.

Does anyone know how to access the back of the switch so I can put it back together? It looks like it is sitting above the fresh water tank which is strapped in with rivets. I am hoping someone knows how to get at it from above?

Thanks,

GWfan

Welcome to the forum GW!

There are several prior & current owners of Great West vans here. Perhaps one will recall your switch location and how to access. In the meantime, you may want to post a picture to jog some memories here.

I have a 2007 GWV and looked at removing that switch after installing a Blue Sea ML-RBS remote switch. I also could not see a way to get at it without removing the water tank, something I had no desire to tackle.

The switch upgrade was part of adding a second battery in other unused rear battery box. The main switch is mounted much nearer the batteries and does away with the long round trip from the rear battery location up to the switch in the door opening and than back to the breaker panel. Small remote button is mounted in the bulkhead with the stereo behind the bathroom.

Good luck, if you find away to do it without removing the tank please update.
