Default Generator exhaust pipe hanger replacement

This rubber isolator hanger on the exhaust pipe of my Onan generator looks to be on its last legs. What's the official name this part and where's the best place to purchase replacement. I'm in Alberta, Canada.

Any exhaust shop could sell you the part or fix it for you.

Mine cracked too, in just 6 yrs.

Here's what I bought from rvgod on ebay (Cummins Onan 1552174 Exhaust Hanger). Seemed like an exact replacement.

I had to slightly reshape the strap end that went up under my rv to make it fit the contour of the fender. It bent easily and holes lined up, so no new drilling.

I just went back to your picture, saw the snow, and realized you were in Alberta. You might just want to wire it up temporarily for support and wait for warmer weather to do the permanent fix.

We're 21c and partly cloudy today.

This:

Agreed - take that picture with you, go to counter of any reputable auto parts store, show it to the counter guy and he will find a replacement option - easy peasy.
Nothing special, don’t need to mail order an expensive Onan part.

But don’t ignore it, the weight of tail pipe bouncing down the road will fatigue the pipe, possibly even crack it further back closer to generator.

As suggested previously - at least support it with a wire clothes hanger until you replace the old hanger.

Good luck hope this works for you.
