Default Experience With External Power Stations

A few years ago I replaced the flooded lead acid house battery under the passenger seat with a 100 AH AGM.

I'm thinking of connecting a Goal Zero Yeti 500x 505 AH power bank to the house battery, in parallel, to bump up the house storage to 600 AH.

Has anyone else tried something like this? What's been your experience?

We have had this kind of miss in the past, also, but it appears that unit is 505 watt hours not amp hours, so is realy around 40-45 amp hours at 12 volts. You would have about 140-145amp hours with it in place.

Yes, you're right. I mis-read the specs. So, a bit more (~40%) capacity. Thanks for catching my goof. Just contemplating how amazing storing all that extra energy in such a small volume would have been should have tipped me off to check my facts.
