Default Cigarette Lighter Recharging Option

We own a 2018 Winnebago ERA. I’d like to keep the chassis battery charged when not in use. Will this vehicle accept a charge through the cigarette lighter which my Battery Tender charger can do with its adapter.

I don't know about that particular vehicle, but I can tell you how to test. Does the lighter outlet work when the key is out? If not, it's not connected to the battery and can't be used for charging. If so, you should still verify that it's connected to the chassis battery and not the house battery. If you can disconnect the house battery and the lighter socket still works, that's a very good sign.

If the lighter socket is connected to the battery, it will have a fuse that limits current, probably ten or fifteen amps. That should be sufficient for a maintenance charge, but it may be insufficient for a rapid charger.
