Charger current is configurable and I think this label simply shows the factory settings. I will need to check if it can be set higher.

But considering the battery capacity is 105 Ah, 28 A would not be appropriate? If I remember correctly, I read that charge current should be 30% of the battery capacity.

At 105, yes it would be OK. I thought someone had mentioned it was a 185ah battery like used in the Zions.

I referenced the peculiar charging requirements of the Northstar battery as a possible solution to the odd voltages Yoshimura has seen.

It turns out that Yoshimura doesn't have a Northstar battery. Deka batteries are in the coach. Yoshimura could let us know how many Deka 8A31DT batteries are installed.

The charge profile labeled "Sealed lead acid" in the Signeer manual: 14.4V charge, 13.6V float - looks like it is the best overall match. The AGM 1 profile as a summer setting and AGM 2 setting in winter is another option.

With a 28A output the charger doesn't match the specs in the Signeer manual so it is likely a different brand. There are many different brands of these low cost inverter/chargers that look exactly alike.

If the coach has 4 AGM batteries then a 28A charger is undersized.

When these RV's come off warranty I think we'll see some nice modifications such as installing top tier programmable inverter/chargers that are easily made to match any replacement battery you end up installing.

There is only one battery and it's located under the van. Thanks for your comments.
