Default Changing Generator Oil Just Got Easier!

I have been changing my generator oil since I bought my RT190P new in '04. I have used a funnel, then a marine pump that screws on the bottle. Somewhere recently, someone suggested trying a flexible attachment sold at Walmart. I checked it out, it screws on the quart bottle, stretches and expands and bends to whatever angle you need, and the opening fits right in the fill hole. Today I tried this gadget out....it is the best $.50 I ever spent!! I found it in the auto section, and made by Blitz - in the USA. At the current price I plan on picking up a few more many more oil changes. I can't remember where I found article, but sure applaud the guy for putting the info out for all of us. Safe travels.

Someone at Yahoo Roadtrek just posted pics of the flexible plastic slinky-styled hoses.
He put it in the Onan Generator folder if anyone wants a peek. It showed up in the daily
update email.

Mike, that be da one!! Who would have thought something so inexpensive could be so good to work with. I screwed it on, bent it to a down position, inserted the end in the generator and started raising it...forget that funnel and pump - I'm a convert!! Safe travels, Ron.
