Default Boliy Green Light Issues

Hi,

we've had our Boliy for a while but over July we took it on it's first really expedition. 4 weeks on the road.

One thing that has been driving me crazy is the green light safety feature. I'm not sure what the criteria for making the green light flash and not connecting power but whatever it is I feel that the parameters a to tight.

- if there is the slightest humidity in the air, it is detected and the green light flashes. I resorted to sticking the plugs in my pocket to warm them up and it seems to work.

- If the cable connection into our trailer is not JUST right then it must detect some slight increase in resistance at the connector and makes the green light flash.

Is there any way of either making this less sensitive or even disabling this safety feature all together?

I also noticed that sometimes when the generator has no load and it's in economy mode then the engine starts to hunt up and down.. rev up then rev down. Any idea why this is?

One last thing.. where is the hatch to access the spark plug?

Thanks,

Steve

Hi Steve,

The Boliy section of this forum not very active. I sold my Boliy a long time ago now and I don't remember much about it.

Hopefully, someone will be able to help.

I sent you both the Service manual and the Parts manual that I have to both of your email addresses. They're from 2007 but it is all I have.

Thanks Mark,

I got your .pdf user and parts manuals and printed them off. Many Thanks!!

I've been thinking about my problem and then asked my self 'what are you doing Steve?"

The generator is still under warranty and I bought it from the place 5 miles from where I work in San Diego. I'll take it back to them and let them figure it out!
