Default Air conditioning on batteries

It looks like the anti idling rules that are showing up for over the road trucks is starting to generate some e-trek type systems for semi cab cooling or heating when stopped.

I ran across this on the Trojan site while I was looking for their recommended temperature compensation during charging.

I think this is the first time I have heard of a "true deep cycle" AGM, not intended to be used as a starter. Might be a good alternative for the AGM folks.

I also noticed that they have placed the SCS200 wet cell, group 27, 115AH, only in the RV/Marine catagory and added a cold cranking rating, which would seem to indicate they are calling it a deep cycle starting battery now. The 27TMX at 105AH is listed with the true deep cycle batteries like the golf cart 6 volts. When I had talked to Trojan 4 years ago about the difference, they claimed they were both true deep cycle of the same basic construction.
