A/C Problems in Winnebago Travato 59G

Is anyone having cooling issues with their roof air on a Winnebago Travato 59 G? We just purchased about 6 months ago and started using roof air. It cools very little even on high cool and high fan.

Get a ladder and pop the cover off and run, look to see fan is spinning ok or any critters or insects are living there.

Thanks. Will check, but air is coming out fine. Just not real cold. Almost fan temperature on high cool.

The a/c recirculates air, it doesn't draw from outside, so you need to close windows and doors. That said, after 10 minutes or so mine emits very cold air. Put a thermometer in the output so you can get a more accurate feel for what's happening. 20 to 30 below ambient is doable.

I will certainly try that however I think I should have put one more important fact in my post. This Coleman unit heats and cools.

I was talking about the outside cover, if the fan is gone, broke etc... or a nest of something is blocking the coils etc....

anything is possible but you might be running it incorrectly -anyway you can consult an expert.

The heat feature is a 1500 watt resistance heater. They all come with that.

You have to turn the right hand knob to the blue side of its scale and turn the left hand knob to hi cool. Give it 10 min.

You need to be plugged in to a good power source or be running the generator.

If after all that you still don't get cool, you might have a defective unit.

How hot was it outside? I know my Winnebago Era air conditioner can struggle in very hot heat. I'm not sure if the Travato is the same one or not.
