I've not heard of anyone getting that message. If the Balmar is not working, there is a fuse. Sorry I can't tell you where that fuse is... near the unit I think.
If Thor is getting their alternator and the Balmar from Nations Starter in Missouri, they have been very helpful for the Roadtrek owners.
