2004 Roadtrek 200P will new Onan fit?

I have a Roadtrek 200 Popular, the Onan generator has died.

Will a new Onan RV QG 2800 generator install where the old Onan was?

I know this basic topic has been discussed, I am sorry to open a new one, however, I would very much like to have a onboard generator.

Yes. We are told the cross braces at forward side of it need to be a slightly different length. The new cross pieces were offered as an upgrade kit at one time but the last person that reported said they were not available. Shouldn’t be too hard to make your own.

I have not replaced an old generator with the new model so this is second hand information.

I have a 2006 210V with the Onan generator. I need to replace the stator and rotor - which are no longer available - so I am looking at options. My service rep told me that Cummins is coming out with an inverter generator that could replace the Onan 2800 in July 2020. It is supposedly much quieter and more fuel efficient. My service rep cannot give me specifics as to price and availability and I cannot find any info on this one from Cummins web site. I have questions into Cummins and hopefully they will confirm delivery and provide price. Will keep you posted.
