I had a 2005 Pleasure-way Plateau Sprinter. My first Class B. I researched at great length before I pulled the trigger and bought one. IMO, it was the best on the market at the time. Leisure Travel Vans and Great West Vans were close seconds at the time. They were all Canadian companies.

Ovsa, Be careful buying from Canada. I got close to one down here in Florida. The government here has all sorts of hoops to jump through on the import fees and various taxes. I would suggest finding a suitable purchase here in the USA. It'll be simple, you pay them the money, they should hand you a paper title to the unit. And you are done!!
Don't fuss with Canada, it ain't worth it. I backed away from my deal very fast when I started finding about tons of details required. Find something stateside, it'll be more enjoyable for you!!

HaHa!! Thats correct...I am.

Funny thing is i spend more time looking for RVs in the USA than in Canada. Just a much bigger selection and pricing is a bit better. But when you add in the exchange rate, taxes, import fees, duties, inspections and required modification it just isn't worth it. Not to mention tne traveling back and forth and the risk factor.
Unless its a rock bottom deal and there isn't many of those around these days.

Just gotta keep looking.
