Welcome to the forum Denise!

The old Dodges can be made to run forever if examples on this forum are accurate. However, that doesn't mean that body rust, motors, transmissions, dash a/c, etc. don't need repairs and at a high cost. And that doesn't include things that need attention in the "coach" part of the rv.

If (and this is a big if) the seller has complete service records that show regular maintenance, perhaps a recent transmission & a/c replacement, and you are reasonably mechanically inclined, then it might make a dependable rig.

I agree with rowiebowie. I'd say one of the big factors outside of those pointed out by rb might be the price. A 23yr old, high mileage vehicle should not be selling at an outrageous price. Bad rust and structural damage (which could be an issue if this is a MI vehicle) would be, for me, a deal breaker.

I own a 1997 PW. They are well built. My furnace required the replacement of a circuit board but otherwise it and the water heater, the cooktop, the fridge, the toilet, the ceiling fan and the water pump are all original equipment and still operating.
