Those K-cups have some quality coffee in some. But they don't make a strong cup of coffee, maybe a half cup. I have no use for approaching, or passing, $200 coffee makers. My $9.95 Mr Coffee 4 cup auto drip make fine coffee when properly measured. It has served well for going on 5 years. It has fallen from the counter when I forgot to stow it away, more than once. But keeps on ticking.

For me, I chose this K cup design for ease of use and size. I've had drip coffee makers in an RV before and just wanted to eliminate the need for filters and loose coffee.

I am with shore-t. We have the same ($10) 4-cup drip style.

k-cup devices are costly, refill cups are expensive, AND they are an environmental disaster.

The other advantages are you can have an infinite variety of coffees and you don't have to go through a pound or so to switch.

If you like dark roast and your spouse prefer light roast for your first cup of the day, you don't have to compromise.

If you want to just have a cup of coffee you don't have to brew a pot to do so.

You can brew a cup or two in the time it takes to fill a tank of gas or diesel at a service station stop. It is the fastest way to brew.

You don't have to clean up and put away other than your favorite coffee cup.

It takes much less energy from your batteries to brew a Keurig cup or two than brewing a pot of coffee.

Built in, plugged in, at the ready.

Here is mine, a custom made coffee brewer station, it's 800 watts and runs off my 1000 watt inverter. Those inexpensive compact k-cup brewers on Amazon looks all the same, it's probably made by same manufacturer and rebranded by different companies.
