My wife cooks for an eldercare facility and used them for a while. Even though they work quite well, she decided that they really weren't worth the price. She said with a little soaking, crockpots clean pretty easily without them. For camping however, I bet they'd be great. The sink in the American Cruiser is too small for soaking the crock.

We use them with cobbler in a Dutch oven. Saved me my usual scrub time.
