Default Need a new *very small* microwave

The one thing I couldn't get to work as we were camping in our new to us American Cruiser is the 2004 Tappan TM5030W microwave. It measures 17.5" wide, 8.875" high, and 12" deep. The hole for the microwave is 18.25" x 9.75" x 12" and there needs to be some room for the air to circulate. Has anyone bought a new microwave recently? If so, what did you get? Thanks!

I haven't purchased one.

No doubt you already checked the 110v breaker. What about fuse in the microwave oven?

The outlet was getting good power...I think it's the fuse in the microwave. I would like to get a new one because, while I have never actually used this one, it doesn't have some of the features I like. However, if I don't get any good leads from any of my forums I will take it to an appliance repair shop tomorrow.

Turns out that microwave ovens often come with two sets of dimensions - inside and outside. So, the inside of my new microwave will fit in the available space, but the outside won't. I think that is going to be a problem ; )

Sorry - there are only 3 0.5 cu ft microwaves on the market that I can find and they are all too tall.

Were you ever able to find a "small" microwave? Mine is acting up and I have had the same problem with finding one that isn't too high.
I guess I will try to find someone to fix the one I have.

Out of curiosity(and for fun), I just spent time searching - even European models. Can get 2 out of your 3 dimensions (not always the same 2 either) , but not 3 out of 3.

Know any good cabinetmakers?

You might have to bite the bullet between (1) no MV or (2) Re-do cabinet or find another location in your RV.

Unless you can find the exact same model - used.
