Unhappy Microwave died!

I have a 2019 Pleasure Way Lexor FL. It has a Hot Point product.
Convection/Microwave. It was working fine up until a few weeks ago.
Symptoms: No lights/No power.
Tried resetting all the breakers. The coach has power. All outlets seem fine.
Any suggestions about what else I could check before I try to replace it?
Not even sure where it is wired in.

Thanks in advance,
Gerry K.

Hi:

I have a 2016 PW lexor. In my coach there are several GFI circuits. Please make sure you can reset all of these. Maybe one up in cabinet above the DVD player? I know there is one in front of kitchen sink.

Microwave comes out pretty easy. Only four screws on face. Then lift out.
When half way out, unplug it from outlet on back. Once removed, you can just plug it the microwave to test it. If no power, you can decide what next step. Either repair or replace?

Best of luck

yes, check power at the outlet first

on my 2006 PW the outlet is right behind the microwave

if the outlet is hard to get at, a voltage tester pen ($8~$40) will tell you if voltage in in the conduit leading to the outlet if that is more easily available than pulling the microwave

also on my model the GCFI in the head controls the outside and the galley outlets ( those most likely to be affected by water)

Some time ago my microwave went out. I opened the cabinet and replaced a fuse I purchased on line (ebay). Worked fine after that for many years.

Problem solved. The outlet behind the Microwave was dead. Finally found the GFI culprit in the clothes closet. Thanks for all your input.
