It looks very interesting. It may take some time to get used to using it. It takes longer to cook than straight microwaving, but there is no time & energy wasted, preheating an oven. Clean up is also easy.

Another aspect: many people believe that microwaves kill many of the valuable nutrients in food. The steel lid is supposed to protect the food from the microwaves; heating from the bottom. Microwave ovens do tend to focus their waves at the surface of the rotating platter.
