sadly my experimenting did not turn out well
Way overcooked on the outside. A chunk of it stayed stuck in the crock pot.
Next time I would:
1. mix it and let it rise in a separate bowl
2. try a more traditional recipe (less water and kneading would be required)
3. fold and shape the dough so that it can turn out looking like a loaf of bread
4. set it on parchment paper in the crock-pot
I don't think my small crock pot gets hot enough for a 1 1/2 pound loaf size so I'd probably reduce it to 3/4 or 1 1lb size.
