White Mountain Foliage Trip

My wife and I made our annual White Mountain foliage trip the last weekend of September. We went to North Conway NH (visited the new Conway Camping World) then up Rt 302 through Crawford's Notch where we spent the night at A Better Life Cottages, Campground and Store. The next morning, we went across Rt 3 and down Franconia Notch to Lincoln, then east across the Kancamangus back to Conway and then back home to Maine. I thought we'd be too early for good color, but it was gorgeous. It was rainy and overcast all weekend but we had a great time anyway.

That area is only about a full days drive away for me. I'll probably visit next year.
