Vogel State Park April 3 & 4 ish

Plan on stopping at Vogel State Park April 3rd & 4th-ish on our way to Myrtle Beach. We are van campers and don't need full hook-ups but electricity is wanted. Should we get reservations or would we be ok to wing it? The problem is these dates are not set in stone.

Most states have online reservations where you can check availability. If there are a lot of campsites available close to when I plan to arrive I will often take my chances. If there are just a few available then I might tighten my schedule and make a reservation. Weekends are more critical than the middle of the week.
