Vancouver to Fort McMurray

Leaving about mid May. What are my chances of hitting snow? Anyone been to Fort McMurray?

A snow fall is always a possibility in pretty much any month of the year in Alberta. If you run into a dump of snow, though, it generally shouldn't stay around long. Note that depending on your route, a number of campgrounds won't open before the May 19 long weekend.
