Southern Idaho in September 2017
We're taking a short (2 wk) trip to Twin Falls and Boise and further East. Any suggestions for things to see/do or places to stay (preferring country to town).

Couple of nice Idaho State Parks for a stopover:
3 Island, at Glens Ferry is nice.
Bruneau Dunes is pretty remote, okay for overnite.

Craters of the Moon NM is really neat, too -- possibly out of your route?
The campground there is "unique".
