Heading to the Homestead or Everglades area at the beginning of April for camping and fishing. I’ll be hauling a 24’ trailer behind my SS Agile. Total length of coach and trailer will be just over 43’. I’m looking for recommendations on where to camp with rig and trailer.

Look for Larry and Penney Thompson Park, Off the Turnpike on SW 152 st. Offers great amenities in a quiet atmosphere with a pool to boot, the Park is run by Miami Dade County Parks. Travel time to homestead about :15 mins, to Everglades National Park entrance about :45. I dont know if you are aware, but its mosquito season. Everglades is always infested with those blood suckers. only good time to visit is right after a true cold front. Hope this helps.
