Observatory campground $15.00.Very handicapped friendly. The actual 200 inch telescope is not but the museum and grounds are.coins showers and flush toilets at the main restroom ,the rest are pit.Great star viewing but I noticed most sites were reserved for the weekend but plenty open during the week., ,,.

The Julian historic district is about 20 miles away with many old buildings and a tourist trap setting.Famous for the apple pie..Sorry.I should have taken more pics.Lake Cayamacas is 14 miles to the south for more camping.

Thanks Stan - looks like a nice place to visit. I like the photos. Looks like you pretty much had the place to yourself.

Many had left. I have noticed that campers here in SoCal camp for one night then leave. I 've seen them come in at 8 pm,erect a tent city then tear down in the morning and leave. I 'm too lazy for tenting hense the rv.
