Norwegian "Hjemkomst" Center
Moorhead, MN -- across the Red River from Fargo, ND, is a lovely little city. College Town. Also contains the Hjemkomst ("homecoming") Center at which is located a full-scale replica of the Hopperstad stavkirke in Vik, Norway. A Norwegian friend of mine who frequently travels to Norway infomrs me the Moorhead Stave church is as fine as any in Norway. Also contains an actual longboat constructed here and sailed to Norway.
