Default May 24TH, what's your plans.

Well May 24th comes early this year actually lands on the 19th.

We get the summer campsite on the 12th. My brother-in-laws taken the site next to us and my buddy Tom is next to him. The mother-in-law will be across from us, the aunt next to her and a distant uncle (forvorite uncle, won the lottery LOL) next to them for the weekend. One more relative and we'll probably own the campground for the weekend. LOL

Too bad it's an alcohol free weekend.. Yeah right.

With the high cost of gas this year, most won't do a lot of traveling. But with my new wheels I think we'll take a trip up to the uncles on Sauble Beach. Maybe MacGregor Pointon the way home.

That all sounds like fun paulm.

Sauble Beach & MacGregor Point look like nice spots also.

Is there no alcohol in some Ontario Parks on holiday weekends?

I'm going to try to get to Elk Falls Provincial Park

We'll see what the weather is like. We really haven't had many warm days yet.

For the US version of Memorial Day, we'll be driving our B up to Camp Ripley in north central Minnesota. My son will be doing his annual 2 week National Guard training so we're going to bring his wife and new baby up on their first camping trip so he can see them on the weekend.

The NG has a family day that weekend so we can get a look at some of the stuff he's doing up there. Chino is hoping that we'll get to take a ride in a Bradley (since the kid is learning to drive one). Wouldn't that make the Ultimate B Conversion!!!!

Yeah, most Public Parks, ban alcohol May 24th and some even on Labour Day. Too bad some partiers, have to wreck it for the rest of us. Nice thing though they usally don't bother mature campers (and I don't mean old LOL) as long as your discrete.

Well, I won't be driving anywhere. Work is sending me to the other side of the world for a short time. There's work that needs to be done and I'm the only one qualified to do it.

Hey Paulm, I know Sauble Beech real well. My best friend's parents had a cottage close to there and I spent a lot of time going to the beech with my friend on our motorcycles. I'm sure things have changed since I was there last. My friend now lives in Sauble Beech. I hope to get up to see him this summer.

My uncle has a cottage Sauble Beach, on the lake, as opposed to the road. I haven't been there in 20 yrs. My cousin has a new recreation sport business there, that sells Sea Doos and ATVs.

There is a campground close we stayed at, Whispering Pines I think. I'm sure it's changed in 20yrs.

The uncle said we're welcome anytime, but I hate imposing, so we'll find a campground. Different if I go to BC. I'll park right in Marko's driveway...LOL
