Has anybody been to the Maine Lobster Festival in Rockland? This year it is July 30th to August 3rd and like many Americans I am trying to decide if I am willing to pay the $1,100 in gas that I estimate it will cost to drive up there from Arkansas and back (with a couple of other stops along the way). I hate to be a cheapskate but man I can eat a lot of lobster at home for $1,100.
We were thinking about timing our return to hit the World's Longest Yardsale the following weekend (August 8-10), but then again we live smack in the middle of Bargains Galore on 64 that same weekend which is not quite as large but more than we can cover in three (very hot) days.
