If you want to know the forecasted weather on any given Interstate or on your own planned route visit this section of Weather.com's web site : Interstate Forecast

You can set a travel forecast for up to 24 cities. I'll be using it for my next trip in February.

This is another interesting link. It gives the list of all Interstates, each one containing pictures or symbols of all the exits. This is quite handy in terms of advance visual reference since all you get on a map is an exit number on a given road.

This link as well as the one to the Interstate Forecast Web Site could eventually be added to the Online maps and travel guides sticky.
