Cheap is not always best way to spend Our retirement money.
Wife & I went to LosAlgodones for dental "care" for several years. Liked the Dentist. He lived in Yuma, spoke perfect South West English. Had some Grad. Training in CA/USA. Prices about 1/3 to half of AZ cost for most treatment. Sounds good so far!
Not so good: he had a lot of 'assistants. Most spoke fair English.
But talked incessantly among them selves in Spanish while working on us.
We do not understand Español. I & others consider that rude.
Worse: when he died we were left to find another Dentist.
I had an emergency situation shortly after. So called a couple of local Prescott Dental offices, wouldn't see me- not taking new patients.
Finally called a Dentist that I had gone to years ago. They still had my records. Told me to come in that day! Problem occurred because of substandard work I'd had done in Mexico.
EVEN Worse : Wife had to have 3 implants done because of poor treatment
In Los Algodones.

If you do go buy a counterfeit Rolex watch instead - cheap & worth cheap.
BTW: park on CA side, walk across border. It's safe. Take US or Canada passport. DO NOT take a fire arm. Your 2nd Amendment "Rights " end at either border! (This is not meant to be political.) Just advice. ..
