Lots of private campgrounds but I didn't see Provincial campgrounds in my search.

You're right. It doesn't seem too fond of Provincial facilities.
Funded by the private c/g folks do you think?

If it doesn't show much of Provincial Parks, it must be like Cape Breton was when I traveled around it. The Provincial map and the map of Cape Breton did not show any Provincial parks at all. We ended up staying at private campground and some should not have been marked on any map. We found out there were lots of Provincial parks and they were all very good campgrounds but we had no idea where they were. After I got food poisoning from Fort Louisburg, we had enough and went home.

More than likely, private campgrounds provide some form of support to the website making it lean more towards them. Provincial parks will not normally advertise because the public is actually paying for it.
