Took an overnight trip down to Camden Hills State Park. Even though it was a long weekend for me, my wife had to work Saturday and Sunday (till noon) so we didn't head out till about 1:30 pm Sunday. By US Route 1 or ME Route 17, Camden is only about an hour and a half from home but we like to meander the back roads so it took us about 4 hrs. It was overcast and raining so after going to dinner in a dockside restaurant in Camden Harbor, we went set up camp in the State Park and watched a couple of movies. When we got up this morning, it was gorgeous so we rode up Mount Batte (in the park) which has gorgeous views of both the ocean and the mountains. Got back home about 4PM in time to mow the lawn. Back to work tomorrow.

Looks like a great place to spend a few days. I'm about 6 hours away in Mass and I think I will plan a trip there in May. Thanks for posting those beautiful pictures.
