Anyone done the Great Loop by B instead of Boat?

Has anyone attempted to mimic the Great Loop by Class B instead of by boat? Obviously you can not exactly duplicate it, but it seems possible to experience a lot of what this has to offer without the cost or time constraints of making this journey via boat. Thoughts?

Davydd, I have read that book, he is a pretty cool guy. I believe that he lives in KC, but I have not ran across him.

Not that much. the closest was around lake Ontario then another time Lake Erie. Oh yea one more thing that was a class C at that time. Thinking of doing a coast trip around Michigan in the B

I've done quite a bit of that except for the east coast. I have hugged the Gulf Coast as much as physically possible now from the Mexican border in Texas all the way to Key West, Florida in the past 3 years. I've done much of the Mississippi, Most all of Lake Michigan, all of the coasts of Michigan both lower and upper Peninsula, all of Lake Superior and most of Lake Erie and Lake Ontario. I've also done almost all of New England but not in a B. I've done the Florida Atlantic coast but not in a B.
