Yes nice blog, nice site, and nice awning. Careful, one good Santa Ana blow, and you'll be airborne.

"Careful, one good Santa Ana blow, and you'll be airborne" I'm hoping the sail will help with the MPG.

Have traveled that road many times, in RV, Corvette & motorcycle. Many curves.

Be aware that:
1) Weekends, particularly early mornings, draw many motorcyclists, and some of the "squids" try to use the road for a race track. Also, many bicyclists.
2) Rock slides common, and gravel on curves, too, don't get too rambunctious any vehicle.
3) At night, animals cross road.
4) Use the turnouts to get out if way of tailgaters.
5) If you are into wheeled vehicles, be sure to stop at the "Rock Store", Jay Leno often stops there with one of his various, exotic vehicles. Jay is approachable if you have something intelligent to say about cars and bikes, but don't ask for an autograph, he just wants to be a regular guy there.

I'm approachable if you have anything intelligent to say, too. Guess that makes me a regular guy.

Most of the time I'm reproachable.

I should have added that the highway has the most public restrooms I've ever seen on a 50 mile stretch of road.Cali is closing many of it's rest areas due to " budget cuts" everywhere else.

to the reproachable comment.

Most restrooms, is a consummation devoutly to be wished for after a few coffees or other beverages.

I always have a restroom on board and at my age I don't need any beverages as an excuse to go.
