Where is the best place to get replacement parts for 98 Roadtrek ?
I just bought a 98 Roadtrek Versatile. the access panel door on the running board on the drivers side needs to be replaced. Both hinges and latches are broken and it is currently held in place with duct tape.
Where is the best place to look for a replacement panel door?
I understand this won't be new, and that doesn't matter to me, as long as it works.
Thanks.

you are probably looking at getting that fixed- roadtrek specific parts are made in limited numbers- so options are asking roadtrek, or looking for a salvaged RT model.
I'd look to a boat shop as they are smart about fiberglass and how to repair it ( I used a boat shop for the fiberglass top on my old blazer)

Thanks for your reply, but both hinges and latches are broken, so it is more than just fixing the fiberglass. The door needs to be replaced. I assumed I'd have to get a used door somewhere, but wasn't sure where to look for that.

When we took a tour of the roadtrek factory last year, the gentleman told me that they have all the fibreglass moulds in stock, even for my 97 , I remember him telling me that they can reproduce the same exact door for our older models, Im not sure if you can order the older hinge from them, if not, Im sure they can be replaced with a similar hinge from a different source...now either you can contact Roadtrek directly to order this part, or you may have to order through a dealer near you,,,,, hope this helps,,,,,

you hinge is probably a "piano hinge"- even home depot has them- piano hinges are used on many type of cabinetry- they can be bought long and cut to size to fit almost any application- screwed or riveted into place
you'd do better with a stainless or aluminum hinge.
latches on many RV's are simple cabinet type latches ( which is why we all have keys to each others rv compartments) - again hardware store.
if some thing is part of the RV, not just an RV specialist can service or have parts for it- for all the chassis stuff, it's just a heavy duty dodge and most autoparts stores will have what you need
do try roadtrek though- it's worth a call
there are also some roadtrek specific owners groups and forums onthe web, check around

I ordered replacement hinges for my interior cabinets in my American Cruiser from Born Free. They used the same hinges! You may want to pull one of them off in order to look for some sort of identifier OR just try to work with Roadtrek since they are still in business.

If this is the typical rubber hinge used on some Roadtrek outside compartments then it is available from a direct source at a significant savings from the same hinge from Roadtrek. Here is the hinge in various lengths, just needs to be cut to length and pop riveted into place.

I am still investigating what I need. I'd be very appreciative to know where to get that hinge.
Thanks a lot.

Thanks to everyone for their feedback. After a bit of online searching I found Airstream, Itasca, ERA, Roadtrek Dealer in NJ - Colonial RV and they have what I need. They will ship the door with the hinge attached, then I just need to buy the latches.
