Wanted generator for 1999 Rialta

Wanted -generator for 1999 Rialta...This RV apparently had a generac but was not with the vehicle at time of purchase....I would like to purchase a generac or another generator that would fit into the original cavity....If a generac is not available, any suggestions for a replacement? thanks, popeye hboerger@embarqmail.com

I have a '99 Rialta HD. Starting in 2000 Rialta went to the Onan Microlite 2.8kw. This will fit but you will have to get a kit to retrofit the unit. Also, you (or whomever installs it) needs to make sure that the Start/Stop wiring will be hooked up. The Generac NP-30g (Rialta 1885-1999) is no longer made. Parts can still be had.


My original got ruined by the repair shop. I was so lucky to find another NP-30g on eBay. It came out of a wrecked Rialta but the generator was fine. It had been shop tested and I had it shipped from NY to AZ. It only cost $50 for the shipping. Of course it fit well and I put a few new parts I had from the old one (plug, wire, air filter, oil breather tube, etc) on before installing it. It gets intalled or removed from under the coach so bear in mind it does not come out of that little access door but rather from the bottom. Best to have a shop put it in or find/rent a hydraulic lift table which is what I used. I installed it in 2011 and it has run perfectly ever since. So...I would suggest to keep looking until you find one.

I removed mine ,coulndt endure the noise ..........it aint the silent type !
