Tough price point. Rules out pretty much everything not older except some Hyder stuff. And there are valid reasons why they are less expensive. Reasons enough for me if I were in your situation to maybe ease off on the low miles part. What exactly is low miles.

I would hunt around on Craigslist to get a feel for the market.

There are a few older ones down here with lower miles(under 100k miles) that come in well under your price range but they are twenty+ years old.

Mine is twenty years old and I have no issue with that. It has 203k miles on it, so not low miles.

Douglas,
What do you think of this one in Oregon, one of several used LTVs listed in your price range on rvtrader.com

First generation Airstream Interstates are in that exact range. I've got a friend in Tennessee who will soon be selling one in good shape (they tell me). It's built on a T1N Mercedes Sprinter (diesel), which many consider to be more reliable than the later NCV3s which are plagued by emissions systems problems. I don't know their mileage, but I'm betting it's less than 100,000.

I could be wrong because it's been a couple of years, but I think this is the unit that they bought (below). This is a 2007 Interstate shown in these pics, but I'd have to confirm to state with certainty that this is actually their unit. This model has jack-knife couches amidships (Ultraleather, which fold down and meet in the middle, making into a queen-sized bed, very comfortable, we love ours), with rear kitchen and wet bath.

Default Rt pic

I sent pics from my phone but just noticed that they went out from my mindlapzzz account. Apparently I can’t do anything from my phone and will send them tomorrow from my computer. You might check your spam or mail for that account. Either way I will resend tomorrow
