Thumbs up Urgently needed, please help.

Hello Everyone, my name is Ron,
I have lived in my 1987 Dodge B250
Campervan for 7 winters, I desperately need a
Brakelight switch WITH speed control
The part number is 4221980.
My van had been stored every winter for 26years since new, until I bought it June 10, 2013.
The reason I've lived in it is because I had a tragedy in my life 9 years ago, my rational is " homes are for families and since I lost mine I live in my van.
The part I'm looking for has been discontinued, so I'm turning here to you wonderful people hoping someone might have a switch to sell to me.please contact me at ; prospectingron2.0@gmail.com
Thank you all and may God Bless each and every one of you folks.

Dutch, did you check out any of those links? Looks like that switch is very hard to find. Maybe you could post a link to someone who has one in stock, if you saw something I didn’t.

To the OP, I’m not familiar with your specific vehicle. Make sure you check power supply to the switch, if you haven’t already.

Also you may be able to adapt one from another vehicle or a universal type could be made to work. You most likely will have to kiss the cruise control goodbye.

Good luck!

The first one in the Google list looks like they have it:

https://store.mopar.com/1986-dodge-d..._4221980-item/

I could take it all the way to shipping the order.

Try 1-Auto or LKQ auto parts. LKQ handles used auto parts nation wide.

Search for "STANDARD MOTOR PRODUCTS SLS77" without the quotes. This is the replacement for the Mopar PN 4221980. Rock Auto has them for $7.00
