I've never been in a Sportmobile. Does the pop up just provide headroom for walking around, or is there a platform to provide another sleeping space?

I'm also in the Columbus area (southeast). Your rig is out of my price range, but it would be cool to see.

Default Sleeping, email, and options with 4WD

The gaucho turns into a bed and there is a bed up in the pop-top penthouse. So 4 people can sleep in there. When poptop bed is not needed, it attaches to roof and interior height inside is probably 6.5 ft. I can send more pictures if you email me @ walkinnature@protonmail.com.

It is capable, well-kept RV that can get you out of dispersed camping spot after a night of rain or snow. Definitely provides piece of mind. We went this route when searching for Class B after hearing stories of damage on underbody of RoadTreks due to low clearance. If you want to stay on pavement or in campgrounds, you can get away with 2WD and low clearance. If you like more remote and free camping, the Sportsmobile is a great choice. New ones like this one are $180-$200K.
