These can be replaced with a supports commonly available at Lowes, etc.
You may have to drill new holes.
These tend to not be all that sturdy. I now use a prop. Much easier.
Another idea may be to get a couple of pneumatic struts and do a custom install. Once done, would appear to be the easiest to work with for operation of the door but installation would be a bit more of a challenge.
