Default Can anyone tell me what part this is?

I was going to purchase a 1995 Roadtech Popular. It's coming with this part for underneath somewhere ($700 cost) but women who is selling it has no idea what it is and neither did a mechanic!
Anyone here know?
And, anyone have a suggestion of what a fair price would be to pay for this with 151000 miles on it?
Pictures of part is attached.
Thank you all on advance for your reply.

I’ve done a fair amount of crawling around under my 1998 Dodge 190 Popular, and never seen anything like that. I don’t have the generator option, but that doesn’t look like a bracket to hold something square.

don't recognize part....imagining the round part bolts at differential....but really no idea. as to sale price of a RT of that age and miles....18k as a ball park, but i'd need to see it to be any more specific.

Try doing a Google reverse image search. I tried it with your first image and came up with this: https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid...0&locale=hi_IN among many photos of similar looking parts. This seems to be for Toyota Tundra steering assembly. Good luck!

My first thought is a bracket that holds a bearing assembly for a split drive shaft. Not sure if the Roadtech even has that? Maybe you could use it as a cup holder for a large mug?
Not a lot of miles for a 29 year old vehicle; however, I would look carefully at the underside for rust. That would be a deal breaker for me, regardless of price. Personally, I would not spend more than 10k for a vehicle of that age and miles, unless major engine, driveline components were replaced recently.
Wouldn't worry about the mystery part; maybe it is not even from this vehicle?

I think that the part in your picture is this:
