Default 1993 GTRV Plymouth Voyager

Hello there. Unfortunately we have decided to sell our 1993 Westy - how do we go about figuring out what it is worth?

It is in very good shape. In the summer of 2018 we gave our mechanic the go ahead to do whatever work he deemed necessary - nothing major showed up and our bill was $2400 CDN for things like a transmission service and some minor steering and suspension work. Last summer we needed a new alternator and gave the mechanic the same go ahead to fix anything else (he is a friend!) and there was no other work to be done.

New batteries, new tires. Mileage is an issue as the odometer stopped at 282578. We figure it is still under 300,000 kms but a buyer would have to trust us on this.

Is there a way to get a fair value for this - or am I in the place already?

Thanks for any suggestions.

It's a good time to be a seller.

I'd be looking for comparable units for sale and then try to adjust for the CDN market
( possible that importation by a US buyer would have complications, but that's their problem...including maybe a new speedo, so that solves the odometer issue)

you could also try a couple of ads on kajiji, if you get a lot of responses your are priced too low. so place an ad with generic info just so you can judge market.
Then place ad with all correct details

likely do better if you are lower mainland, larger market more money

you may also want to float ads in Calgary etc some are willing to travel the market is so tight

The Westy is more than 25 years old so problems should be minimal, unless the engine has been modified.
