Lonely in my Class B
Hi all.
I am new to this forum. I have a Coachmen Galleria 24T and am a full timer. I have been from Ohio to Alaska to Florida and am now in Indio, CA since May 2018.
I would love to travel with other class B's. I can't seem to find in any specific class B groups in Google.
Any suggestions?
Thanks much!

I hate to say this, but it might benefit you to join Facebook. Yes, they harvest your data, but you can join with a fake name and birth date. I've found that telling people when I finally meet them that my real name isn't Phoebe3 doesn't seem to be an issue.
You may not be able to travel with other Bs, but you will get to know people that you can meet up with when you go to various areas of the country.
and if you don't limit yourself to Bs, there are a lot more opportunities for you to get together with others. Here are a few examples:
https://www.facebook.com/coachmenowners/
https://www.facebook.com/search/top/...Class%20B%20RV
https://www.facebook.com/groups/2204017916595715/
https://www.facebook.com/groups/137363733632399/
https://www.facebook.com/groups/1153104958124978/
The last group, Free BLM and national forest camping is the only one I belong to so I can't vouch for the others, but once you join a group like this, you will get ads along the right side of the page for similar groups to join. It might take a few weeks to find the group that you want to stick with (the moderators have a lot to to with the tone and timbre of the group), but there are so many options out there, I'm sure you can find something.
Best of luck in your travels!

Makes sense Phoebe3. Plus some B owners tend to do a lot of drugs and alcohol, so the "G Man" handle may not be the best.

Well, guess that kind of depends on who you want to hang out with. If you're avoiding those folks, "G-Man" might be the perfect name.

Look up. Rubber Tramp Rendezvous Quartzsite. This year they are congregating in Bouse, AZ, just up the road. January 19th, I think. The New Christy Minstrels will be performing in Quartzsite January 12th. I always liked their music, dated now but so am I. Original leader. And original sound.

Hi all again,
Thanks for all the input. I DO NOT want to hang with druggies, etc!!! As far as Facebook is concerned, I have reservations about joining. The learning curve on how to navigate the site is probably overwhelming. I did write looking for other class B's but I am open to joining ANY kind of RV group that fits me.
I have heard of Quartzite, AZ but that is the same time as the IBC (International Blues Challenge) in Memphis, TN which I am going to attend for that week.
Phoebe, can you please share the links to Free BLM and national forest camping websites? I googled them but I didn't see anything specific to groups. Thanks much all.

I don't think that this group requires you to have a Roadtrek, even though they are primarily an RT group, It appears.

Solo RV'er clubs might be the answer. You might find some useful info browsing through Solo RV'ing topics on forums. Here are some: Solo RV'ers - iRV2 Forums

From what I understand, Quartzite is booming all winter, not just for a one week event. Dunno for sure having never been there but will be checking it out come February.

my 2 cents... i was on FB for a long time using a fake name and started getting involved in a roadtrek group which was very nice but at some point i got contacted by FB and asked to prove my ID so that was the end of that

Check out Bob Wells' cheaprvliving youtube channel or his website cheaprvliving.com They're starting some caravans out there for the express purpose of connecting folks who want company. Here's the link to the website page which discussed it:

Galleria Groups
My aunt and uncle have a Galleria and they go out with their Coachmen Group all the time. You may want to try that and possibly meet up with other Galleria owners and then start your own specific group.

Anyone going to Quartzsite might want to check out Palm Canyon. It's close by and you can avoid the heavy clustering of RVs right around Quartzsite. There is also a nice short hike into the canyon where you can observe the palms. The variety is native to Arizona and, I believe, this is the only place where they grow. Sites are nicely spaced and the view is great.
