What is the black box under the fridge?

We took the cover off the cabinet below the refrigerator. This cabinet is behind the bathroom. I thought the black tank was under the unit, but could this be part of it? Are the wires connected to tank level sensors?

It looks like a tank. The wires appear to be for sensing the level of the liquid inside.

Roadtreks used to have a tank under the toilet, kind of a pre-black tank that was small and was dumped into the black tank, IIRC. Ours does not have one, though.

Does the Crossfit have a macerator at the toilet, with that being the tank for it?

The Crossfit has a 10 gallon black tank (separate from the gray), gravity only - no macerator.

The toilet sits on a pedestal and there appears to be a black tank under the chassis.
