We know a Hymer owner who purchased from an out-of-area dealer a year ago, he was able to have warranty repairs done locally out-of pocket, then mailed the paid receipt to EHGNA for reimbursement. Is that an exception process that requires pre-appoval from manufacturer? Is it commonly done by all manufacturers? To me it makes total sense to cut the dealers out of the picture for minor repairs, what I have read about most dealers so far, not impressive.
Your thoughts on this appreciated, thanks. Oh and BTW< know all about the EHGNA scandal, being dropped from Acquistion, so question is not whether they will be solvent and able to pay!! Other threads are addressing that hot topic!
